TMNT& Other Strangeness Tribute Illustration -11x17 Original Art

In fall of 2023 I was invited by game creator and legend Kevin Siembieda to create some original pieces of art for the newly updated Redux Edition of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness Role-Playing Game". I had the original edition of this book (and many adjacent source books and connected RPG's) from Palladium Books as a young artist, and it was an invaluable tool, and a world that I loved to both play and create in. To have my work appear in this new edition is an honour I cannot fully fathom.

This piece is very personal to me because it features original Mutant Animal characters that I rolled up using dice and pencils and the original copy of the game book just like I did in 1987. Both the Kung Fu Rabbit and the Kusari-Gama wielding Turkey assassin were inspired by a challenge laid down by my friend and fellow artist Paul Kemp. The Badger and the Porcupine With a Shotgun were created back in the late 1980's during our many weekend game sessions.
This piece was pencilled and inked on 11x17 Canson XL Mixed Media Paper, and was published and printed in full colour (assisted by Danny Harrell) as a tribute illustration in the new edition of the game book. in 2024.
